Mukti means Salvation or Nirvana and Nath means God or Master. Muktinath, a Vishnu Temple is one of the sacred Temple for both Hindu and Buddhism. It is located in Mustang of Nepal. Muktinath Temple lies on the foot of Thorong La Mountain Pass. It is located at height of 3800 M Hindu considers this as Mukti Kshetra which means the place of liberation. Hindus believe that by taking bath on Muktinath which has 108 water spouts, all the sins committed will be washed away and be purified by the holy water According to Tibetian Buddhist, they call the Muktinath as Chumig Gyatsa which means Hundred Waters. Muktinath hold significant important place for Dakinis which is called goddess of sky dancer and this is one of the 24 Tantric Places.
