Rara Lake is the Largest Lake in Nepal at an altitude of 2990 M. It is protected area in the Himalayas region of Nepal. It is the smallest National Park. It lies in the District of Jumla and Mugu. Rara Lake reflects the shadow of Sisne and Kanjirowa Mountains. It was established in the year 1976.Rara Lake is one of the important Tourist destination of Nepal. Although it is far away from city and Bumpy road, people are always amazed by the beautiful lake and it surrounding. It is rich in flora and fauna. Musk Deer, Red Panda, Leopard, Jackal, Dhole, Grey Langur and Himalayan Black Bear are the main attraction of Rara Lake. Rara is cool durning summer and very cold durning winter.On the North side it is surrounded by Ruma Kand and Malika Kand and on the Southern Side it is surrounded by Chuchemara Peak
