Chitlang is a typical Nepali Village with a gorgeous set of homes and mountains surrounded by beautiful green woods made up of over 160 species of birds and creatures. Chitlang provides a wonderful encounter with a mixture of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Journey at a glance
Day 1: Kathmandu to Chitlang — Take a bus ride to Chitlang, where you'll explore Satdhara, Maghgaun, and Bhairab Temple. In the evening, relax with an optional campfire featuring BBQ and snacks, followed by an overnight stay at a local guesthouse or campsite. Day 2: Markhu to Kathmandu — After breakfast, depart for Markhu and enjoy a boat tour to Mohini Jharana waterfall, followed by a short hike. Have lunch at Markhu and visit the Hanging Bridge. Conclude the day with a return bus ride to Kathmandu.
