This 4-day, 3-night package offers an additional day compared to the 3-day option, catering specifically to bird enthusiasts eager to observe a wide variety of species in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. The extra day is entirely devoted to bird-watching, allowing visitors to maximize their experience. The journey features encounters with diverse wildlife, including Wild Water Buffaloes, Blue Bulls, Gangetic Dolphins, Fish-Eating Crocodiles, Wild Elephants, Bears, Deer, Golden Jackals, Jungle Cats, and Nilgai, along with over 400 species of birds. Guests will explore the marshes, remote sandbanks, and islands of the Koshi River through a combination of walking, boating, and driving, ensuring an immersive adventure into this vibrant ecosystem.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Reach Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp and start a short bird-spotting tour or nature hike.
Land at Biratnagar Airport, greet and transfer to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp 1:00 PM – Enjoy lunch 3:00 PM – Explore birdlife on foot near Saptakoshi River 7:00 PM – Relish dinner
Day 2Morning walk, then full-day rafting and jeep safari after breakfast.
5:30 AM – Wake-up call 6:00 AM – Nature walk nearby 8:00 AM – Breakfast 9:00 AM–6:00 PM – Raft safari with bird/dolphin spotting, picnic lunch, and jeep safari to Pink Tower via Koshi Barrage 7:00 PM – Dinner
Day 3Full-day birding and wildlife tour by boat and jeep in a different reserve area.
5:30 AM – Wake-up call 6:00 AM – Birdwatching nature walk nearby 8:00 AM – Breakfast 9:00 AM–6:00 PM – Raft safari (lower Sapta Koshi), jeep drive, jungle walk, visit Crocodile & Wild Buffalo Tower; lunch at camp or packed; explore local village and market 7:00 PM – Dinner
Day 4Morning birdwatching followed by departure after breakfast.
5:30 AM – Wake-up call 6:00 AM – Birdwatching in nearby jungle spots 8:00 AM – Breakfast 9:00 AM – Transfer to Biratnagar Airport (Optional) Visit Pink Tower near Koshi Barrage for birdwatching (extra cost) if departure is later.
