The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular treks inside the Annapurna location. The path is going along terraced rice paddies, lush rhododendron forests and high altitude landscapes with the Annapurna range in view maximum of the instances. The placing of Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m is unique and relatively extraordinary, set amidst the majestic peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m). The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes 7 to 12 days, depending for your itinerary and duration of walking days. The itinerary presented right here takes 12 days, starting from Nayapul (a 1 half hour power from Pokhara) and going north up to Ghorepani and the famous point of view at Poon Hill. From Ghorepani, you go eastward to Chomrong and then north once more coming into the Modi Kola Valley which leads as much as the Base Camp. Many people trek the circuit Nayapul-Ghorepani-Ghandruk-Nayapul, which is very rewarding in itself. This trek can without difficulty be carried out with kids as well. you could return via Jhinu Danda and provide your worn-out muscle tissues a nicely deserved relaxation inside the delightful hot springs. Upon your return, it's far profitable traveling one of the Gurung villages of Ghandruk or Landruk. The accommodations within the Annapurna hiking location are nicely ready with big menus ranging from the everyday Nepali dhal Bhat (rice with lentils) to pizza and chaumin. hot showers are effective to be had as well. if you are making plans to trek inside the iciness months please check with a tour agency to verify which lodges are open. The Annapurna trekking place is without problems accessible with one of a kind trailheads beginning simply an hour or two away from Pokhara. among Himalayan lodge and Machapucchre Base Camp, there may be a risk of avalanches so make certain you have the state-of-the-art data on trail conditions earlier than placing off or rent an informed manual. in the winter the base Camp can sometimes be closed due to the snow level. In springtime, the huge rhododendron forests are in complete bloom which gives the trek an extra attraction.
