Location: Chandragiri Cable Car is situated in the southwestern part of the Kathmandu Valley, near Thankot. Trip Duration: The cable car journey typically takes around 10-15 minutes. Opening Hours: The operating hours Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Break Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Friday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM *Note: On Saturdays and Public Holidays there will be no break Ticket Prices: Ticket prices can vary for locals and foreigners, and there might be different rates for adults and children. It's advisable to check the current ticket prices before planning your visit. Facilities at the Top: Once you reach the top of Chandragiri Hills, you can explore various amenities, including a viewing tower, a restaurant, and a park. Day Day: 01: Chandragiri Cable Car Trip — Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Head to the Chandragiri Cable Car station, which is located a short distance from the city center. Take the cable car ride to Chandragiri Hill. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas during the journey. Spend time at the Chandragiri Hilltop, exploring the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple and enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Annapurna and Langtang ranges. Have lunch at the hilltop restaurant (if available). Descend back to the cable car station. Return to your hotel in Kathmandu.
