Chitwan National Park is one the main attractions in this district which is also in the list of the World Heritage Site.The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and the nocturnal Royal Bengal Tigers that live in the dense forests of the Chitwan National Park. You will discover the natural high grasslands and trees and twisting vines, elephants, crocodiles, and deer; bright colored birds and if you are fortunate – the Royal Bengal Tiger that is rare to spot out in the open. Sharing home with these are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, and leopards.
Journey at a glance
Day 1: Kathmandu — Arrival in Kathmandu. Drive to your hotel .In the evening you can enjoy dinner with Nepali cultural program.You can visit Swayambhu Nath stupa in the evening or next day depending upon your arrival in Kathmandu.Overnight in Kathmandu. Day 2: Chitwan — After having breakfast we depart to Sauraha , Chitwan . ( Approx 5 hours / 165 km ) . Check in at a resort in Chitwan. In the evening we will watch Tharu cultural program. Overnight in Chitwan Day 3: Chitwan National Park — Our jungle safari guide will breif you about todays program and you will be transferred to Chitwan National Park for full day activities.Activities : 1. Elephant back safari or jeep safari 2. Dugout canoe ride 3. Natures walk 4. Bath with elephants5. visit elephant breeding centre Overnight in Chitwan. Day 4: Chitwan National Park — The day starts with a short trip to the banks of Rapti river for Bird watching. Leisure time till noon. After lunch ,we will head for a jungle safari excusrion by Jeep or bicycle to the "Twenty thousand lake" or wildlife walk in the dense jungle of the Chitwan National Park. Overnight in Chitwan Day 5: Kathamndu — After breakfast we depart to Kathmandu. ( Approx 5 hours / 165 km ) . You can visit Thamel street market in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu. Day 6: Departure — After breakfast we drive to Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure. End of tour.
