Chulu West peak is a part of the Manang Himalayan region and it is very famous and beautiful mountain which is quite rightly included in the larger Damodar Himal and Himalayan Range too. The eastern limit which runs south from Chako and Peak 6688 in a north-to-south direction along the beautiful Hunlung Khola, Nar Khola and Phu Khola.
