Upon reaching Gorakshep, a helicopter will be dispatched to pick you up, providing a swift and scenic journey back to your starting point. You have the option to either fly directly back to Kathmandu by helicopter or opt for a helicopter shuttle to Lukla. Should you choose the latter option, please note that you may need to wait until the following morning to catch a regular airplane flight to Kathmandu, as flights from Lukla typically operate in the morning due to the region's topography and weather conditions. Whichever route you choose, the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek promises an unparalleled adventure, combining the thrill of trekking with the convenience and excitement of helicopter travel amidst the world's most stunning mountain landscapes.
