One of the finest ways to see Mt. Everest (8848.86m) is via the Gokyo Lakes located in the Gokyo valley where the Dudh Koshi River begins. Gokyo is a hidden valley with incredible views of the Mount Everest along with beautiful blue lakes. For many, the trek through Gokyo was a must-see experience on their way to Everest Base Camp. The mountain scenes from Gokyo are even more impressive than those at Kala Patthar.
