Day Day 1:: Arrival in Kathmandu — Land at Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu, our representative from Journey DMC will meet and greet you and transfer you to the Hotel. TIA is one of the finest airports in Nepal. In the evening we will be doing a half-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath Temple. Boudha is a holy place for the Buddhist religions where most Buddhist cultures used to go and worship the Lord Buddha. It is also known as the beautiful tourist destination of Nepal. It is located in the center and northeast of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath Temple is the holy place for the Hindu religion which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is currently the largest temple in Nepal. Among these many of the people used to visit there to worship Lord Shiva who is also known as Mahadev (the lord of animals). This temple was built by King Prachanda Deva in the Lichhivi period. The festival named Maha Shivarati is observed on the fourteen days of the waning half of the lunar month of Falgun. Many Nepalese worship Lord Shiva on the occasion of Maha Shivarati offering different foods like fruits, leaves, sweets, and milk which should be given to Lord Shiva. After these activities, we will return to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. [-/-/D] Day Day 2:: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara — On the second day after breakfast, we will head toward Pokhara which is around 210 km and it takes around 7-8 hours to reach. On the way, you can see the beautiful landscapes of hills. After arriving in Pokhara we will transfer you to the hotel in Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 3:: Drive Pokhara to Lumbini (155 km, 5-6 hours) — Early morning drive to Sarangkot for Sunrise. After breakfast, we will do a tour of Pokhara City and boating at Phewa Lake. After these activities, we will do check-out at the hotel and we will head to Lumbini which is around 155 km, and it takes around 5-6 hours to reach. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 4:: Drive Lumbini to Shravasti (225 km, 7-8 hours) — After breakfast morning drive to Shravasti. Upon arrival at Shravasti transfer to hotel and proceed for lunch. After lunch visit Jetvanaram and Angulimal caves. Also visit Ramabhar Stupa, which is supposedly, the spot where Lord Buddha was cremated. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 5:: Drive Shravasti to Kushinagar (240 km, 5-6 hours) — After breakfast at the hotel then drive to Kushinagar. Arrive at Kushinagar proceed after lunch proceed to visit Mahaparinirvana temple and Ramabha Stupa (Cremation center). After arriving in Kushinagar we will check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 6:: Drive Kushinagar to Varanshi (230 km, 5-6 hours) — After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Varanasi which is around 230 km and it takes around 5-6 hours to reach. After arrival check in to the hotel and then proceed to Sarnath (14 km), Visit Dhamekha Stupa and Deer Park and after that, we will return to Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 7:: Drive Varanasi to Bodh Gaya (250 km, 6-7 hours) — On the seventh day early morning, we will proceed for a boat ride on the holy river the Ganges with a picturesque view of sunrise. After that we will return to the hotel for breakfast, after breakfast at the hotel we will drive toward Bodhgaya. After arriving at Bodh Gaya we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 8:: Sightseeing in Bodh Gaya — After breakfast proceed for sightseeing to Bodhgaya and visit Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village, Niranjana River, 80 feet high lord Buddha Statue and various international monasteries. After all these activities we will return to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 9:: Drive Bodh Gaya to Nalanda and return back Bodh Gaya — After breakfast at the hotel, we will do an excursion to Rajgir (65 km). Visit Gridhkutta (Vulture's Peak), World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram and Bimbisar Prison. After lunch drive to Nalanda (12 km) to visit the ruins of the world's ancient University. It was one of the oldest Universities in the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Thereafter drive back to Bodhgaya and return to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. [B/-/D] Day Day 10:: Final Departure (B) — After breakfast, at the hotel remaining day will be leisure. Transfer to the airport to connect the flight to the onward destination.
