An enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley, it is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The atmosphere on the shore of Phewa Lake is one of excited vitality as hipster backpackers crowd the many bars and restaurants exchanging recommendations on guest houses and viewpoints, both by the lake and above the clouds.
Journey at a glance
Day 1: Arrival — Meet us at the airport, transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Accommodation: Hotel Day 2: Kathmandu — Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Patan Durbar Square. Day 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara — 6 hours Scenic drive or 30 minutes fly to Pokhara. Hotel Check in. Afternoon, free. Overnight at Hotel. Day 4: Pokhara — Early morning sunrise view over the Himalayas from Sarangkot. Half day Pokhara City tour including Seti Gandaki River, Davi's Fall, Mehendra Cave and Barahai Temple with boating at Fewa Lake. Day 5: Pokhara - Kathmandu — Approx. 6 hours Scenic Drive or 30 minutes fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Day 6: Departure — Free till departure, transfer to airport, fly back to Home.
