The Annapurna trekking region dominates Annapurna Himalaya, the ancient mid-western salt route of Manang,Thorong-La pass, Muktinath temple and the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki.This region lies north of Pokhara, Nepal's spectacular diversity appears at its finest. Trekking through the lowland villages and mountain communities will expose you to the variety of different cultures of the Gurung, Magar and Thakali people. Mustang, or Lo Manthang, the desert plateau located in the upper valley of the River Kali Gandaki, and to the north of the main Himalayan range also falls in this region.
