Muktinath Mountain Biking Tours is a spiritual adventurous journey to sacred Muktinath (Chumig Gyatsa) temple revered by both Buddhists and Hindus. This is a scenic journey through the bank of Kali Gandaki and into the laps of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. The mountain biking journey begins from Jomsom, 25 minutes flight (a 2 hour drive) away from Pokhara. Jomsom, the headquarters of Mustang district is the starting point of the biking journey. The trail goes via Kagbeni, another town of Thakali community famous for Apple brandy and Thakali cuisine. The bike trails are a mix of mud, rock, gravel and asphalt encompassing an array of choices from cross country and mountain to highways and city alleys. You will have plenty of time to spend in Muktinath, visit the eternal flame and sacred 108 water spouts. Further you will head towards Tukuche and then to Tatopani where you can relax dipping in natural hot spring. The best feature of Muktinath mountain biking is the opportunity to intimately observe the culture and hospitality of Thakali people and diverse natural biodiversity. You will have freedom to choose your own timing and speed and enjoy moments of solace and nature’s bliss. This trip is possible throughout the year. Nexus Travels and Tours take care of all logistics including mountain bikes to permits.
