Jungle Safari in Bardia is an ultimate cultural, wildlife and nature tour into the beautiful land of Bardiya National Park which gives you a remarkable practice of exotic nature and being so approximate and friendly to Nature. This area is famous for Elephant Back safari, Bird watching, Jungle walk, jungle drive, fishing etc. including Tharu Village tour and their cultural program. This park is mainly covered with Jungle and grassland, savanna and riverside forest. This national park provides you great opportunity to discover and explore rare wildlife, flora & fauna, Villages and Terai people, new cultures and tradition and enjoy jungle activities. More than 30 different mammals, over 400 species of birds and several species of snakes, lizard and fish have been recorded in the park. It is home to endangered animals such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild Elephant, Rhinoceros, Swamp Deer, Black Duck, Gharial Crocodile, marsh mugger and dolphin. Rare birds like the Bengal Florican, lesser Florican, and sarus crane and in addition to the resident species, several migratory birds visit the park every year which we will get the opportunity to see here.
Journey at a glance
Day Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu — Upon arriving in Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International Airport), our representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel by car/Jeep. Enjoy a free evening to explore Kathmandu and recover from your jet-lag. Meet our representative will brief you about trip to Bardia and answer your questions and queries if any before dinner. Day Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj then drive for Bardiya — After Breakfast at Hotel, we will transfer to the domestic airport for one hour lovely flight to Nepalgunj, upon arriving in Nepalgunj Airport, our representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel/Resorts of Bardia after a short drive by car/Jeep/bus. After Check in Hotel Enjoying Lunch at Hotel. Then Evening you will have village tour which gives you a great opportunity to know local Tharu’s traditions and cultures. Day Day 03: Elephant Back Safari and Jungle Walk — You will receive wake up call for tea and coffee followed by breakfast. After that you will be visiting crocodile breeding center plus Tharu Cultural Museum and return back for lunch. Then you will go for elephant Back safari and Jungle walk which will take you to the nature and wildlife to proximity and return back for Dinner. On this day, you will see several rare birds and animals with green beautiful scenery of nature. Day Day 04: Tiger Tracing/Bird Watching/ Jeep safari/Tharu cultural Show — After having early breakfast, we head down to river side to see birds. You will see different species of birds and enjoy their enchanting sounds. After that we go for tiger tracking with our friendly professional guides. We come back for lunch and then after some rest we go to jungle safari on a Jeep with expert. They will give much information about animals, birds and vegetation and their importance in our ecosystem. Later in the evening, Tharu cultural program is organized. Enjoy cultural presentation, music, Tharu Stick dance and Tharu food festival. Enjoy dinner. Day Day 05: Dolphin Sightseeing and Departure — You will receive breakfast call and after which we head down to Karnali River and enjoy fishing activities along with dolphin activities and head back to hotel for lunch. After good lunch, you will now pack your things and fly back to Kathmandu with the memorable experiences, warm love and moments of Bardia. Check in to the Hotel and Enjoy Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu. Day Day 06: Final Departure from Kathmandu — Our representative will attend you to the airport to catch your returning flight.
